There is a sartorial question that is often asked concerning menswear: Is it the suit that makes the man, or the man that makes the suit? When it comes to Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester’s Thom Browne ensemble at the Gothman Independent Film Awards, we’re certainly talking about a woman. And it’s safe to say that this woman completely makes the suit. Her makeup is spot on with a smokey eye and nude lip. I’m still trying to tone down the jealousy over spectacular green clutch. Don’t even get me started on those soaring satin Ferragamos.
